Tips to using yeast!

No knead rolls are so easy to make, they are almost foolproof as long as you get the warm water temperature correct. The easiest way to make sure the temperature is correct is to look at the yeast package and follow the recommended temperature for the yeast you are using. Test the temperature of water with a thermometer to make sure it reads at the temperature that you need. These rolls are soft and as long as you bake the rolls close together the inside will be soft.

Other helpful tips for no knead rolls

I baked the no knead rolls with the spare ribs at 275, they turned out just fine but they took longer than 25 minutes. You just want to kept an eye on them for the desired doneness. I also placed them under the broiler with the spare ribs, I just took care to make sure the rolls didn’t burn.

Ways to customize the no knead rolls

These rolls can be customizable; you can definitely add thyme or rosemary to the dough if you wanted to, or any other spices you would like. Cheese would be a great addition to these rolls, but just stay away from soft cheeses like goat cheese. Other good ingredients to add would be chives, sun dried tomatoes, green onions, or jalapenos. You could make them sweeter with honey or make honey butter to go on the top.

Bread freezes really well, so you could freeze the dough or baked rolls, each way would work just fine.
