1 Tbsp. Dill
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tsp. Onion Powder
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 Cup Red wine or 2 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Liquid smoke
In a baking dish add all the ingredients
except for the brisket and combine.
Marinate the brisket overnight, the brisket is better if you can marinate it for 2 to 3 days.
Place in a bed of foil and bake at 300 degrees for 5 to 6 hours. Add Barbeque sauce the last hour of baking, I used this Bar-B-Q-Sauce recipe. Note: do not keep opening the oven just add it once at the last part of cooking.
Brisket is so amazing especially for any barbeque but it should always be cooked low and slow otherwise it is a very tough cut of meat. When it is cooked correctly it is a very tender cut of meat.
My Brisket was only 1.6 lbs. so I cooked it at a lower temperature 200 for about 3 hours.
A great sauce is Bar-B-Q-Sauce, so if you loved marinated brisket be sure to check out other recipes like Beef in Barolo or Merlot
