Sugar cookies are so fun to make! Celebrate with this 4th of July Sugar Cookies recipe! These cookies are crazy delicious.

¾ Cup shortening

2 Cups sugar

¼ Cup milk

2 eggs 

¼ Tsp Nutmeg 

1 Tsp vanilla

4 Cups Flour

3 Tsp baking powder

Food coloring 

Preheat the oven to 375. Mix sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, milk, nutmeg, and vanilla.

Slowly add the flour and baking powder mix. Mix until combined.

Separate the dough into three balls. Add blue food coloring to one bowl, and red to another keeping the third bowl white.

Roll into balls or cylinder shapes and create shapes, be very creative here, then roll the dough out and cut into shapes.

Ingredients
