1/3 Cup Pineapple Jam

Combine the first 4 ingredients for the dry rub
Mix well

Make sure the membrane is removed. Most ribs purchased from the grocery store do not contain the membrane. I have found it is very rare that I have to remove the membrane.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, place the spareribs on the aluminum foil.

Then season the ribs generously on both sides with the dry rub you just made. Do not rub the seasoning into the meat.

Season the meat about 2 hours before you put it into the oven to marinate it.

Cover the top with foil. Bake at 275 for 2 hours.

Add the sauce to the ribs let cook about an hour more and they are ready to enjoy! You can also try them with Homemade BBQ Sauce which is also great to use with this recipe, such as Bar-B-Q-Sauce.

Then put the spare ribs under the broiler until the sauce is caramelized.

Tricks to perfect Spare Ribs
The trick to fall off the bone spare ribs is to make sure that the membrane is removed. Another trick is to cook them low and slow.

I served the spare ribs with No knead rolls and salad for one amazing dinner.
