Maximize on the incredible flavor with an easy to make dry rub, first marinate them. Then coat them in a seasoned barbecue sauce mixture that will be so addictive you won’t stop eating them!

Make sure the membrane is removed. Most ribs purchased from the grocery store do not contain the membrane. I have found it is very rare that I have to remove the membrane.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, place the spare ribs on the aluminum foil. I like to rub the ribs in liquid smoke
Then season the ribs generously on both sides with the dry rub you just made. Do not rub the seasoning into the meat.
Season the meat about 2 hours before you put it into the oven to marinate it.
Cover the top with foil. Bake at 275 for 3 to 4 hours.
Before you are ready to serve the ribs, lather them in your favorite BBQ sauce. Homemade BBQ Sauce is also great to use with this recipe, such as Bar-B-Q-Sauce.
Then put the spare ribs under the broiler until the sauce is caramelized.
Tricks to perfect Spare Ribs
The trick to fall off the bone spare ribs is to make sure that the membrane is removed. Another trick is to cook them low and slow.
I served the spare ribs with No knead rolls and salad for one amazing dinner.
