Let’s face it poppy seed Salad dressing is simply irresistible, it is amazing in salads, as a marinade for chicken, or even as a dip for vegetables. Homemade dressing on hand makes dinner so much more enjoyable.

1/2 Cup White Wine Vinegar

1 Tbsp Poppy Seed

1/4 Cup Sugar

1 Tsp English style Dry Mustard

Garlic Clove Minced

1 Tbsp Celery Seed

Salt to taste

1 Cup Olive Oil

Whisk together everything except the olive oil, whisking until the sugar is dissolved.

Poppy seed dressing

Add the olive oil in a slow stream, whisking until the dressing is emulsified. Chill and covered for 3 hours and whisk it well to recombine before using.

Poppy seed salad dressing is insanely easy to make and will have your friends and family praising you for being such an amazing cook, when they find out you whipped it up in about 5 minutes. The hard part is remembering that you need at least 3 hours in the refrigerator before the dressing is ready to be used. With just a few simple ingredients this salad dressing comes together so easy.

I made a great and very fast salad, with spinach, almonds, blueberries topped with poppy seed salad dressing! It was amazing!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup White wine Vinegar
