Take your barbeque to the next level with this amazing overnight coleslaw which is healthy! This is a very classic no-mayo version of coleslaw.

12 cups shredded cabbage
1 green pepper chopped
1 medium red onion chopped
3 carrots shredded
1/2 cup Fresh Parsley
1 cup sugar
Dressing
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
3/4 a cup oil
1 teaspoon salt
In a large bowl combine the first four ingredients sprinkle with sugar and set aside.
In a saucepan combine the dressing ingredients and bring to a boil remove from heat and pour over vegetable.
Stirring to cover evenly cover and refrigerate overnight stir well before servings.
Even after a few days in the refrigerator it still packs a crunch because of the onion, carrots, and green peppers. This delicious overnight coleslaw can be a great side to any barbeque or any addition to any sandwich.

Overnight Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 12 Cups Cabbage 1 Medium head, shredded
- 1 Green Pepper Chopped
- 1 Medium Red Onion Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Parsley Fresh
- 2 Carrots Shredded
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tsp. Sugar
- 1 Tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tsp. Celery Seed
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Cup Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the first four ingredients
- Sprinkle with sugar and set aside
- In a saucepan combine the dressing ingredients
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat
- Remove from heat and pour over vegetables, stirring to cover evenly
- Refrigerate overnight and stir well before serving
