Who doesn’t love Banana Bread, it is such a tasty snack. It makes your house smell so good when it first comes out of the oven. It is simply amazing!

3/4 Cup Sugar

1/4 Cup Butter

1 Beaten Egg

2/3 Cup Mashed Banana

2 Cups Sifted Flour

1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

1/4 Tsp Salt

3 Tbsp. Sour Milk or Buttermilk

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Add butter and Sugar to a bowl. If your butter is coming directly from your refrigerator I recommend popping it in the microwave for about 10 seconds.

Sift Flour, baking powder, and baking soda

Then add one beaten egg and the rest of the ingredients, blend and do not beat, just until combined.

Grease your bread pan with butter before you add the mixture to the bread pan.

Raw Banana Bread

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

What makes banana bread even more delicious is if you actually have bananas that are very soft and ready to be thrown away.

An interesting fact is that unripe bananas have a probiotic bacteria that is actually very good for your health, but in this case you should use overripe bananas because they have a much sweeter taste. Unfortunately, as they ripe a lot of the good nutritional properties go away.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 Cup Sugar

  • 2/3 Cup Banana About 2 Medium Unripe Banana's
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Buttermilk Sour Milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven to 350
  • Add butter and Sugar to a bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Sift Flour, baking powder, and baking soda
  • Then add one beaten egg and the rest of the ingredients, blend and do not beat, just until combined. 
  • Grease your bread pan with butter before you add the mixture to the bread pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Notes

If your butter is coming directly from your refrigerator I recommend popping it in the microwave for about 10 seconds. For a more flavorful Banana Bread use overripe bananas they have a sweeter taste.
